Now it's just a controller, which is all I wanted for Christmas. So I went into Big Picture mode, went down Settings > Controller (Base Configurations) > Desktop Configuration and manually removed every single one of them. It turns out Steam was somehow overriding it. I ran DS4Windows with my actual Dualshock 4 and encountered the same mouse control issue. Well I think I solved the issue potentially. If it matters, then I do have Steam installed. So my question: is there a way to disable the DS3 (which is acting as Xinput I think) from acting as a keyboard and mouse? It is a massive pain in the ass as it's basically preventing me from using 80% of the buttons. I swear it's gotten more useless over the years.

I did some more digging on Google, and it turns out that Google has no interest in giving me results to my question. Select acts as a Tab, and 元/R3 buttons are acting as mouse clicks. I thought I was good to go, so I loaded up a game and pressed the Start button only to have the game act as though I pressed Escape. I load up DS4Windows after ticking the DS4Windows option in DSHIDMini, and DS4Windows is correctly stating I got a DS3 controller plugged in. I then downloaded and installed DS4Windows from Ryochan7's github page. I came across this link stating that it's possible with DSHIDMini, which I installed. So I did some Google-fu to determine if the DS3 controller was usable with Windows 10 (my OS).
